Osteomed Replacement Bur Announcement
We are excited to announce the release of our Osteomed compatible burs. We currently have two sizes of dental burs for the OestoPower™ system.

- #703 2.1MM Side Cut Fissure: S703-60-01NS (Replaces: 455-3703)
- #8 Round 2.3MM Cutting: R8-60-01NS (Replaces: 455-3008)
Our Goal
Our goal is to aid Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons (OMS) that utilize the Osteomed power system to obtain the burs they need for extraction procedures. Each member of the team has worked diligently to ensure each bur is manufactured with precision to provide the fit, form, and feel to match and exceed the original. The quality starts with the material selected for each bur. Carbide cutting heads ensure sharp cutting flutes throughout any procedure, while stainless shanks enable cost reduction without sacrificing durability and cutting performance.
We plan to expand our portfolio of compatible burs for the 450-0777 handpiece. We will be starting with additional side-cutting burs. Omega is dedicated to manufacturing cutting accessories that enable OMS providers to perform quality services to their patients. Expanding our line will allow us to provide a solution for providers to continue using their Osteomed systems and not be forced into changing systems because of a lack of available burs.
More About The Burs
S703-60-01NS
The S703-60-01NS is a 2.1 MM Side Cutting Fissure bur that replaces Osteomed 455-3703 #703 dental bur. It features 6 cutting flutes with chip breakers to provide fast and effective tooth extraction.
R8-60-01NS
Our R8-60-01NS is the 2.3 MM Round bur that replaces the Osteomed 455-3008 #8 dental bur. It is an 8-flute ultra-sharp carbide round bur that offers clean efficient cutting performance in any Maxillofacial surgery.
The Hub
The Hub of each bur is designed to fit the 450-0777 handpiece with the notched section to properly lock onto each bur. The design of the hub ensures a smooth and secure fitment every time.
Final Thoughts
